Reverend PD Dr. Andreas Losch, MBA, FISSR, is a protestant theologian specializing in the dialogue with natural sciences and philosophy. His dissertation "Beyond Conflicts" (Göttingen 2011) received multiple awards. He was Managing Editor of the Martin Buber Collected Works, coordinator of the project "Life beyond our planet?" at the Center for Space and Habitability (CSH) of the University of Bern, head of a project on planetary sustainability in Bern, and in this capacity, an active participant in the United Nations Millennium Space Conference, UNISPACE+50. Losch now teaches at the University of Zurich. He is a Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion and a member of the Center of Theological Inquiry (CTI) in Princeton/USA. He was also associated with the Faculty of Theology at the University of Pretoria, is a board member of the European Society for the Study of Science and Theology (ESSSAT), and a trustee of the Karl Heim Society.
