“Andreas has the wonderful gift of 'breaking things down.' I have never met anyone who could explain connections so well, in a language that can also reach young people.”
Marc Dobat, Youth Officer, Eschwege
As a bridge-builder, I can mediate between different worlds and values. The dialogue between religion and science is very important to me, and I believe it is also essential for the church today. Surveys have shown that the relationship with science plays a significant role, especially for those who are more distant from religion.
As editor-in-chief of the thematic website www.theologie-naturwissenschaft.info, I am very knowledgeable in many aspects of the dialogue between theology and the natural sciences.
My special topic is Planetary Sustainability, and I was probably the first to advocate for an 18th UN Sustainable Development Goal for our Space Environment.
As a former editor of the Martin Buber Collected Works and, with Paul Mendes-Flohr (s.A.), editor of the volume containing his dialogical writings, I am also very well-versed in the thought of this philosopher.
